Moving on, I had dinner last night as Sushi of Gari and it was my first time there. A friend of mine suggested the restaurant. At first glance it looked like a normal sushi restaurant. They had their tables and the sushi bar where you would see the chefs work their magic. I wasn't impressed with the decor, but I wasn't disappointed either. Since we were both new to the restaurant we went with the "Omakase". For those that don't know what that is, it means "It's up to you" for a rough translation or to "entrust". Basically you leave it to the chef to surprise you with his choice of making. The originality was very refreshing and unique. It was not like the usual sushi restaurant places I've been to or what other people would be more familiar with. My friend described it as "Modern Sushi" and I think that pretty much is the best way I would also describe it. The sushi was really good for the most part with a few minor exceptions. I myself, would like to point out that the squid was less than appetizing for me. To be honest I would have really liked to put more information on which pieces were really good and which weren't. However, due to the lack of communication and understanding of our server's English, we failed to understand most of what he/she was saying while explaining the sushi to us. As far as pricing goes it would be moderate to expensive. For those who love sushi, I would recommend this to try it as it is something new. If you want to come back or not that is up to you. The restaurant is located at 402 E. 78th Street, between 1st and York. It really is just near the corner of 1st Ave, so 78th and 1st would be sufficient if your taking a cab.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSdzgn21Ny9hpGzv27gRSra0C8yZES13w7GwIumWof-eW5cLWJrXuktnVkq6v_ZuoT4OcF1H2ErNbMkoySh4xT7i8ZCIDEE_VRw0YZeXjtjEZ8wiWsTVdaa4ALjCHiFdgGB092LHH3dpM/s320/Sushi+of+Gari+002.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447885448896189618" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 226px; " /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUOaheyNr96Sdft9rS0RXDqBTdQ-Iyqg2DIgAAH69S7gcxBs1txKdtjqKhL0aLUE0P8jqW25gRYdjDNv5sgIYcuCPro9mvJHIA5a990eCrGIvvcD1SJqFLbC-UY8Pne_vDcJZG3rG1Tsw/s320/Sushi+of+Gari+001.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447885402456525026" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 226px; " /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><br /></span></span></div><div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div></div>Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126691661549991888.post-51237346258219517242009-07-14T22:46:00.005-04:002009-07-15T15:00:07.920-04:00Ramen anyone? While the price may be the mid-ranges it is not that expensive and it is quite filling. Anyway I'm back and I'm going to start posting again. So...to kick it off I watched a movie on the flight back from Hong Kong and it's called Speedy Scandal. I thought it was a great movie to watch. It is a light comedy with some drama. Very appropriate for families or even just friends when they can't decide what to do. I'm not sure if everyone would agree that it is a must see or even worth buying, but I myself think it is. Enjoy! <br /><br />P.S. We have seen some decent earphones that look cute ( for the ladies) and we also looked at the Mu-Bot (for the...lost for words). Anyway, here we have a high quality inner ear earphone. This is for you if your into music with quality. If you haven't heard of Audio Technica, remember the name now. They offer high quality products for your musical needs. Be it microphones, headphones, earphones, and even turntables. If you really want these in ears now you can pick it up at AC Gears Store for ($79.99). However, I'm sure you can find better deals online for these. Well this is the Segatoys Mu-Bot Robot Earphones for iPod(39.99$). What is it you ask? It is pretty much just an earphone coming from a Mu-Bot (short for Music Robot). If your looking for quality in sound than this is not the gadget for you. However if your still using your stock earphones from iPod than these are pretty much the same if not a little better. You can wear it around your neck or do the same shown above and just stand it on your desk. I think it's cool. The Mu-Bot is not tpo big as you can compare it to the iPod above and it matches the iPod. What else is there to say? Reminder again this is an exclusive item from Japan! You can get these from the AC Gears store once again or on their website at www.ACGEARS.com<br /></div>Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126691661549991888.post-29208734283741115152009-04-01T21:50:00.004-04:002009-04-01T22:09:52.122-04:00Gadgets: Elecom EHP-AIN90 Ear Drops Earphones<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQKEp9khV_VnHXC0x9aubbGgvJxPpKY1wmOtYIij75K8TowPXt1-dMpelQY426Hu2p4OTBc7jhXiqsHJmbuAI7iFV78OSiDLmvvTXZIrMpwDHN_nUpb08Kz7Uj35JtYg3YTS39kjrgMNU/s1600-h/Elecom+EHP-AIN90+Ear.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQKEp9khV_VnHXC0x9aubbGgvJxPpKY1wmOtYIij75K8TowPXt1-dMpelQY426Hu2p4OTBc7jhXiqsHJmbuAI7iFV78OSiDLmvvTXZIrMpwDHN_nUpb08Kz7Uj35JtYg3YTS39kjrgMNU/s320/Elecom+EHP-AIN90+Ear.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319906168771824002" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">How many girls love music and style? A good number I would assume! Here we have the EHP-AIN90 Ear Drops Earphones(49.99$). Cute right? The sound quality off these earphones aren't going to be top notch as one would assume, but it will still be better than your stock earphones that come with your mp3 player. These earphones come in 3 different colors; Sky Blue, Pink and White. I must remind you that these earphones come exclusively from Japan. I found this very interesting and chic store. What I found inside was a bunch of fun, cute, and astonishing gadgets. This store offers a lot of goodies. They have anything from headphones to robots. I must remind you that what this store offers is not just any kind of gadgets, but much more. Some may call it a lifestyle and some may just say its just an interest, but either or this is the spot for all you gadget & electronic lovers. In regards to that we have here the Nike Hurrache Air Force 1 x Hurrache Hybrid in White/White/Ice to be released sometime in the near future. These will also come in other colors like Royal Blue/Scream Green. I have to admit these do look HOT! As a sneaker fan or collector I would really have no place to say anything, but as someone who enjoys fashion I would have to say that these would go well with almost anything in your wardrobe. Their nice, clean, and fresh. I'll post an update when these hit the streets to inform all the fans out there. However, I have confirmed that the release date for the Nike Hurrache's in Royal Blue and Scream Green (125$) will hit the stores on April 11th, 2009. Well for those of you that do this is a treat for you. As I was walking back to Broadway from the Tokidoki store yesterday I happened to pass by this little shop and glanced at it. What I saw was a long line of people waiting for something so, I thought I'd go see what this was about. Baked By Melissa! After doing some research about this little shop of sweets. I found out that the store serves cupcakes, but not just any cupcakes. The store serves bite size servings(A little larger than a quarter, yes I mean quarter 25 cents). I myself, have not had the luxury to actually try this yet, but I do well intend to do so in the near future. The store offers 7 different flavors. They are; Cookie Dough, Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream, S'mores, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Peanut Butter Cup, and Tie-Dye. Below, I have provided some pictures so you can drool over them! Enjoy!<br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7VFzkLlGvV7YIOCumFmmvPuNlaZhzstl081RyZV7e_QrwrH9u97p6Batc21ZRhVGoMruKDq8VYjyaEFGW4UUgdZHx-8qhg6FKeWixweigysnmoopBLib8JmbpRg7ZgXzWVvW2Brcryy4/s1600-h/BakedByMelissaCupC.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 123px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7VFzkLlGvV7YIOCumFmmvPuNlaZhzstl081RyZV7e_QrwrH9u97p6Batc21ZRhVGoMruKDq8VYjyaEFGW4UUgdZHx-8qhg6FKeWixweigysnmoopBLib8JmbpRg7ZgXzWVvW2Brcryy4/s320/BakedByMelissaCupC.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318379064214870578" border="0" /></a>Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126691661549991888.post-61221498465427038742009-03-28T18:28:00.007-04:002009-04-01T22:10:44.704-04:00Fashion/Toys: Tokidoki NYC Capsule Store 176 Spring Street<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIP83xr118VNKSa2KSSnInIciUa7bENyPuuadzWqvrRDrQTOlbfAsmq7X-And-hKufQh1WUHhe3tBEy5EfuFuJwylsI5X7568oEr0yWwuy0paD2aoIsCCsW1-pihg4Kr1DDec3DbPgHvg/s1600-h/CIMG1453.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIP83xr118VNKSa2KSSnInIciUa7bENyPuuadzWqvrRDrQTOlbfAsmq7X-And-hKufQh1WUHhe3tBEy5EfuFuJwylsI5X7568oEr0yWwuy0paD2aoIsCCsW1-pihg4Kr1DDec3DbPgHvg/s320/CIMG1453.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318369726093783554" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">So, here is the latest news if you haven't heard about Tokidoki yet. I myself, have only recently been introduced to this brand. Therefore, here is a little background information on the Tokidoki. They started being noticed around Spring 2006 when their first print of bags were released. Partnered up with LeSportsac to produce cute, yet fashionable purses and bags. As time went by they started to ventured into different lines and even more collaborations with other well known name brands. Here is a little list of their recent partnerships with the names we know about such as; Hello Kitty, Onistukas, Levis, New Era, BearBrick among others. Tokidoki is growing fast and on opening day there was a large line for fans to meet the one and only Simone Legno(Creator and head Designer). I also waited in that line to some products signed. While the store itself is very small it has a lot to offer. If you like cute clothing, bags, assessories, and even the latest fad in collecting Vinyl toys this is the place for you. If your ever in the Soho area in NYC take a little walk and head down to Tokidoki. Who knows? You may end up being a fan also!<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /><br />*New Updated Photos*<br />From HideYourArms.com<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi04rrlaUaXqU0Y9rgowJzOLPIOSXtgxl3uMm31PCKNLn9OkTlswR00rArTdbc8OZDF1lLeEAdjcCjDYVwy4baD3MA8dckf8PlOM41GD8Dxs_nJEXCAxMakFMWVdiXUuLnV2ndH4FB6p0M/s1600-h/tokidoki+inside.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi04rrlaUaXqU0Y9rgowJzOLPIOSXtgxl3uMm31PCKNLn9OkTlswR00rArTdbc8OZDF1lLeEAdjcCjDYVwy4baD3MA8dckf8PlOM41GD8Dxs_nJEXCAxMakFMWVdiXUuLnV2ndH4FB6p0M/s320/tokidoki+inside.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319167903010570658" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2lMLVuNnP41ISu1XIEascPsobrRiCDLRiLOiOlJyFcTxHVQhXFSuXt-YtvvCyEZCiwuSVU8gwoST1MwpfdUzrZ0_cHyT6qx8nZPJHryjzBEuXvhe7CoHlchdK4dWDKc9QQRwG2fydshY/s1600-h/tokidoki+inside2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2lMLVuNnP41ISu1XIEascPsobrRiCDLRiLOiOlJyFcTxHVQhXFSuXt-YtvvCyEZCiwuSVU8gwoST1MwpfdUzrZ0_cHyT6qx8nZPJHryjzBEuXvhe7CoHlchdK4dWDKc9QQRwG2fydshY/s320/tokidoki+inside2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319167947599789346" border="0" /></a></div>Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126691661549991888.post-39076905311488276732009-03-28T18:20:00.004-04:002009-04-01T22:11:16.603-04:00Sneakers: Classic Kicks 298 Elizabeth Street<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHrEwoQZnKUJkJBQ5Ia2H78TH0EqE5QGF6wrDNLHJtILMuZO6tDtBdT0aWmhB-Pm6f_LW1d9dP7OlyaqNFiu0u-ltifR5d2GLm1HsvwWY1QxY_zhYov32RCJh3uGlKxpy6iHBHtvsbm6g/s1600-h/CIMG1452.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHrEwoQZnKUJkJBQ5Ia2H78TH0EqE5QGF6wrDNLHJtILMuZO6tDtBdT0aWmhB-Pm6f_LW1d9dP7OlyaqNFiu0u-ltifR5d2GLm1HsvwWY1QxY_zhYov32RCJh3uGlKxpy6iHBHtvsbm6g/s320/CIMG1452.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318373886696104818" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4ilx329RjUW2Vt2Blr9KNaUU8AxZa5h8E-lrjeon_tz4xe2ETB07EFn7YiPyhQzJHldPPVIfVC9sy2PqGTdiSk4eRpKtPcQ54xH1pio-AzOhd0Vfzq3tNHcnvER5fccc61DsJMIv-v4U/s1600-h/CIMG1450.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4ilx329RjUW2Vt2Blr9KNaUU8AxZa5h8E-lrjeon_tz4xe2ETB07EFn7YiPyhQzJHldPPVIfVC9sy2PqGTdiSk4eRpKtPcQ54xH1pio-AzOhd0Vfzq3tNHcnvER5fccc61DsJMIv-v4U/s320/CIMG1450.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318367565020232610" border="0" /></a>By request again, and talking about the latest in footwear collectibles and fashion. Classic Kicks is one of the well known sneaker stores in NYC. While the location may be unsuspecting it does have its charm. Taking you back to old school styles/retro styles. They have a large selection and the interior design is something to take a glance at. If your into sneakers and old school styles like Vans, Nike, Converse, Puma, and the likes you should really stop by just to check it out.</div>Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126691661549991888.post-46100489373209204092009-03-26T20:05:00.005-04:002009-04-01T22:11:58.785-04:00Music: Utada Hikaru - This Is The One *New Album*<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2XT-UhyGYc2QmQ5m8qRIgX0Hbho9Y1xXu8yWXgKRhHzLVDhwASal3-LNksckIlV5JQeFBohfmVTcgKYY9hf3wa9PsSk_pAJpoRM-vmFcP-m94z_DSo93Bz1Vbeh0I1yAeCI2zfkuXjpQ/s1600-h/Utada+Hikaru+-+This+Is+The+One.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 318px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2XT-UhyGYc2QmQ5m8qRIgX0Hbho9Y1xXu8yWXgKRhHzLVDhwASal3-LNksckIlV5JQeFBohfmVTcgKYY9hf3wa9PsSk_pAJpoRM-vmFcP-m94z_DSo93Bz1Vbeh0I1yAeCI2zfkuXjpQ/s320/Utada+Hikaru+-+This+Is+The+One.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317652889649744594" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Utada</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Hikaru's</span> new English album released March 24<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">th</span> 2009 in the US. As I listened to the album I see how far she has surpassed her previous albums with this new installment. We all know of her past hit song; "First Love". I have to say that in this album I felt that same nostalgic feeling from "First Love" with my new favorite song; "This One (Crying Like A Child)". Heard of Ralph Lauren? Well, his daughter Dylan Lauren, the founder of this lovely candy store has created a new experience. Here you can enjoy all your childhood fantasies. The interior design is creative along with all the other decorations inside the store. Walking into this store is like walking back in time, back to your childhood. I would like to start by saying that this restaurant is owned by Bobby Flay. (Yes the one and the same person that many people have seen on The Food Network) Here we have from the Mesa Grill NYC an absolutely delicious entree. ( Grilled Mahi-Mahi shown above) Although the portions are not as large as many would hope it to be the quality is top notch. They also have an extensive wine list which you can ask your server if you are not sure which would compliment your dishes. The deserts are also amazing in taste and in creativity. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys fine dining as well as willing to fork out the money for the meal, as this is a costly experience.</div>Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1126691661549991888.post-84035848454806956452009-03-26T00:05:00.003-04:002009-03-26T00:19:05.163-04:00First PostWell, this is my first post on my E-Blog. I have been trying to get MySQL to run on my system. However, it seems that it is not going my way. I would just like to inform people that happen to read this blog, that it will mainly contain information and opinion on Food, Electronics, and Fashion. I think that is all for today.Alexander Juanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17887845531023884736noreply@blogger.com2
